Discovery Harbour is open to the general public 7 days a week from May 20 until September 3, 2023.
Scheduled Group Tours are available from mid-May to early September. Ghost Tours and the Escape Room experience are available Saturday evenings in July and August.
Pumpkinferno returns Wednesday – Sunday in October.

Deals & Packages
Ontario teachers, members of the Canadian Armed Forces and Indigenous persons gain free entry. Your Discovery Harbour paid receipt gets you 50% off at Sainte-Marie among the Hurons in their regular season. Exceptions apply.

Season Passes
For just $29.95 plus HST, season pass holders gain unlimited admission to both award-winning historic sites whenever they are open to the general public. This includes admission to all special events, including Pumpkinferno and First Light

Hours & Rates
We reopen to the general public on May 20, 2023. Until then, visitors are invited to check out our special events or book a group tour. Please allow about 1.5 hours for your visit. We are open rain or shine and are dog-friendly*.

Group Visits
Discovery Harbour welcomes groups for guided or self-guided tours of Ontario’s most picturesque historic attraction, with friendly knowledgeable costumed staff. Tours may be available in both English and French.

Download the Huronia Historical Parks app, available in your app store, for a comprehensive audio tour in English or French. Maps are available at ticket booth in several languages and complement our knowledgeable on-site historical interpreters.

Find Us
Find us at 93 Jury Drive in Penetanguishene, only 45 minutes from Barrie, Ontario. Discovery Harbour is accessible from Ontario’s major provincial highways is located on beautiful Penetanguishene Bay. Parking is free and bike racks are available.

Restaurant
Captain Robert’s Table is currently closed and is not accepting future reservations at this time. We will update this website and our social media channels as soon as reservations become available.

Retail Store
Barracks Boutique, our gift shop, is located right next to our ticket booth at the main entrance. Pick up Discovery Harbour souvenirs, support local Indigenous artisans, and grab delicious snacks, cold drinks and treat the kids to ice cream on a hot day.

King’s Wharf Theater
The King’s Wharf Theatre is a 371-seat theatre flanked by majestic Tall Ships and historic buildings. This unique venue is operated by award-winning Drayton Entertainment, one of Canada’s most successful professional theatre companies.
