Huronia Historical Parks (HHP) invites you to submit your application to be a food vendor at Discovery Harbour this summer. Discovery Harbour is a historic site in Penetanguishene, Ontario on the shores of Georgian Bay. The site is also home to the King’s Wharf Theatre, operated by Drayton Entertainment. The theatre welcomes hundreds of visitors daily to its matinee and evening performances. We are l seeking vendors to deliver food offerings to Discovery Harbour and King’s Wharf Theatre visitors throughout the season. Below is more information about our site:

About Discovery Harbour 

  • Dates: Open 7 days per week from May 1st – September 6th, 2026
  • Hours: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (open until 10:00 p.m. during Supernatural Saturdays)
  • Location: The food vendor location (pop-up at Captain Roberts’ Table or designated food truck parking area) will be situated prior to the admissions entrance.

Application Deadlines

  • Applications for dates up to July 12, 2026 must be submitted by June 19, 2026.
  • Applications for dates between July 13 and August 30, 2026 must be submitted by June 30, 2026.

Summer Food Vendor Application

Food Truck Fees: $150.00 (HST included) per day OR $500.00 (HST Included) for 4 consecutive days. Restaurant Pop Up Fees: $500.00 per day (HST included). After the first four days, each additional consecutive day is offered at a discounted rate of $250.00 (HST included), to a maximum of 7 total consecutive days.

    Have you previously participated in one of our events?(Required)
    As a food vendor, I understand that I am required to apply for a Special Event Food Vendor permit from the SMDHU website at least 2 weeks before the start of the event at: http://www.simcoemuskokahealth.org/Topics/FoodSafety/SpecialEvents(Required)
    Requirements(Required)
    If accepted, my spot will be held ONLY if all requirements are met before the deadline (insurance, fee payment, etc.)
    Promotion and Marketing(Required)
    I understand that to help make this event as successful as it can be, it is part of my responsibility as a vendor to help promote the market leading up to the event using all resources available.
    Acceptance Terms(Required)
    Vendors must be available for all the dates they applied for or risk not being invited back. Vendor fees are non-refundable. This application does not guarantee acceptance. All fully completed applications will be reviewed and you will be notified via email of the next steps, including insurance, payment and food permit (if applicable).

    Notice of Collection: The personal information that you have provided to us to enable us to respond to your inquiry will only be used for that purpose. You will not be placed on any mailing lists, nor will your information be released to any third party, except as may be authorized by law. The authority for obtaining this information from you complies with section 38(2) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
